Verso Food, the Finnish developer of fava bean based foods, is launching its new Beanit range on the international arena at the Anuga 2019 trade fair in Cologne, Germany. As one of the best product innovations of the year, the new Beanit range was selected for special display at the Anuga taste Innovation Show by a jury of experts and journalists. Only 65 products out of over 2,300 applicants were chosen.
Kuudes has had the honour of working with the Verso food team to create the Beanit brand. Out multidisciplinary design team has worked with the client in finding the right consumer insights and creating a differentiating and future-proof brand strategy. Based on this work, Kuudes has also created the visual identity and packaging design for the Beanit range.
The key focus in the product development of this innovation was excellent taste and texture. Frying the Beanit chunks makes them crispy on the outside, but perfectly tender and juicy on the inside. The chunk products were launched in Finland in August 2019 and the reception from both trade and consumers has been overwhelmingly positive.
