Welcome to the world of Mauri Kunnas

Espoo is the hometown of Mauri Kunnas, the renowned author and artist, which is why a permanent exhibition on his life’s work was opened in WeeGee Exhibition Centre in his hometown.

We had the honour of designing the Mauri Kunnas exhibition concept and spaces, aiming for a playful and inspirational experience for all. It’s been a tremendous success in visitor numbers, offering a multi-sensory journey through his extensive portfolio and work. Visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in Kunnas’s imaginative world, exploring book settings, trying life as a pirate, discovering Santa Claus’s tools, and gaining insights into Kunnas’s creative process. The exhibition showcases detailed pencil sketches and vibrant aquarelle sketches.
