Kuudes is proud to announce its collaboration with Brunberg, one of Finland’s most beloved confectionery brands. Our task was to create a more distinctive, delicious, and emotionally engaging brand identity that honors over 150 years of heritage with a modern twist. 

Brunberg holds a strong nostalgic place in Finnish culture, known for its rich craftsmanship and iconic range of treats. The renewal set out to make the brand more contemporary and appealing to a wider audience, while staying true to its roots. A key ambition was to position Brunberg not only as a brand for special moments, but also for everyday sweet moments.

At the heart of the renewal is a crystallized brand promise: sweet occasions belong to everyone. This forms a warm, more playful brand identity that strengthens emotional connection and positions Brunberg as a joyful everyday choice. 

The renewed visual identity balances heritage and modernity. The logotype was refined for clarity and elegance, the signature blue was deepened, and a flexible design system was introduced to create consistency and recognition across the wide product range. Graphic elements inspired by Porvoo and Brunberg’s history add character and a strong sense of place, while photography highlights quality and craftsmanship in a premium yet delicious way. 

Packaging is being renewed product by product to build a cohesive shelf presence over time, with the 75th anniversary Suukot packaging marking the first step in this evolution. 

The renewed brand guides everything Brunberg does—from packaging to communication and brand expression—keeping it firmly rooted in its heritage. With a playful and warm spirit, Brunberg continues to bring makoisia oltavia kaikille herkkusuille to life in an even more delicious way.
