Ice cream brand that needs no sugarcoating

Jädelino is the home of authentic Italian ice cream made of carefully selected raw materials. At these latitudes, it is hard to find that perfect scoop of handmade gelato that reminds you of the burning hot sun of Tuscany. Luckily, Helsinki has the Jädelino ice-cream parlour.

Given the task of updating the visual identity, website and packaging for Jädelino, we wanted to find a strong and distinctive design that stems from the Italian design heritage with a contemporary Scandinavian twist. The bold colour and the powerful use of typography make the identity stand out. The result is a playful and lighthearted design to suit the happy and carefree moments of summer.
