DTS – Visual identity and applications

DTS – Davidsson Tarkela Siren Architects

Respecting the past, shaping the future.

The new architecture firm, DTS, was formed from the merger of two long-established and respected practices: Architects Davidsson Tarkela and Siren Architects. With more than a century of combined expertise, the new firm continues to design environments that serve today’s needs while inspiring generations to come.

Project: Tapiolan uimahalli

Kuudes was commissioned to build the strategic foundation and brand identity for DT+S, equipping the company to succeed for decades to come.
With an exceptionally long history and a portfolio that includes iconic projects such as Finland’s Parliament House, renewing the brand requires both sensitivity and vision. We interviewed clients and team members across both legacy firms to discover the common thread that would carry the new company forward. What emerged was a rare combination: world-class expertise in heritage renovation and demanding contemporary projects, underpinned by a culture that values integrity and empowers every voice within the team.

Project: Kuopio Museum

To mark this new era, we built a modern and international identity. At its core stand a bold logo and distinctive colour palette, paired with striking references from across DT+S’s history. Together, they express the essence of the practice — respecting the past, shaping the future
