SIX FORCES OF CHANGE

Seamless & smart

TIME AS EQUITY – SMART LIFESTYLE – TECHNOLOGY AS HELPER – FROM OWNERSHIP TO ACCESS

We seek smart lifestyles through technological innovations. The embedded technologies will make our lives inseparable from the digital sphere.

Ideally, we will have smart homes, smart offices, and smart cities that enable us to lead smarter lives with clear priorities, technology helping us in working, shopping, cooking, transportation, learning, entertainment, and sustainability.
Whether technology will enable smarter living depends on how smartly we use it – what are the values that guide its usage and development? The role of tech will ideally be to help serve a wisely defined purpose.

How has this trend evolved: From hyped solutions for forerunners to invisible but life-changing solutions for everyone

2016 — Cool tech for the few

Hyped tech solutions and forerunning start-ups were widely celebrated but only used by the most adventurous consumer groups.

2021 — Digital leap

Digital services are finally becoming a real business in many areas of life. Covid had a major effect on the learning curve of ordinary people and we became more willing to pay for time-saving. However, the solutions were not yet totally intuitive or seamless, and required efforts from the user.

2026 — Seamless and smart

The new generation of technology works invisibly and effortlessly on the background and serves all areas of life. There will be much more users, more competition and smarter solutions.
